AHHHHH! I just double checked your post and sure enough---you wrote THREE muffin tins. HOW OH HOW did I miss that??? HAHAHA. Serves me right! "Thoroughly reading directions and paying attention to details" is going on my GOOD HABITS list to work on. Oh well. It was a GOOD problem to have!!! :)

Upon reading this recipe, I knew I had to use that can of pumpkin sitting on my shelf for THIS. So finally, this morning, I "whipped" them up. OK. One thing I know is that I am a bit sloppy in reading directions---at all things. I try to improvise or when I seem to get the gist I tend to skip around. Though nothing terrible happened with this recipe (they were so fabulous), I did not just get a dozen muffins. I got 2 dozen muffins plus a loaf. Did you get that much also? I had batter coming out my ears! :) It was like the cruz of oil that never went dry. I kept pouring and pouring. So, didn't know if it was me or if you got that much also.

AND, we had such a great visit with your aunt & uncle-in-laws last week. (Bruce and Natalie). They made a very quick trip up and spoke on sunday. Pastor Tuttle's passion for Christ and Ukraine just oozes...and he was so educational also. My heart is just hurting for (Natalie), but her spirit seems strong even in the midst of not knowing. She had had a very terrible time with pain the day before and they almost didn't make the trip. My eyes just welled with tears as I was talking to her---as she just smiled and evidenced the grace of the Lord.

Anyway, just wanted to "poke" you about the muffin recipe! And I found a very delish cream cheese frosting that "topped the cake." :) Hope you're well. Don't stay so far away from blogging!

WOw, I just read the "History" of your adoption and was so encouraged to know you had decided to adopt even before you had a birth child! I have been trying to find blogs on domestic adoption or foster adoptions and yours came up...My husband and I are about to finalize our adoption of two toddlers from our state...God laid a heavy burden on our hearts and we have been feeling even more so, responsible to continue to adopt until God closes the door...There are so many orphans and we feel it is the believer's responsibility to care for them...We also have two birth children...Again precious testimony!
